Rules for Contributors
As mentioned in the About page, this initiative is not focused on specific issues in existing tools. We do not want to focus on the problems of existing tools but help point towards a new generation of tools. Therefore the moderators request contributors to abide by the following simple guidelines:
- Be polite to your fellow contributors. Even if you vehemently disagree with their suggestions or analysis, please be professional and courteous.
- Do not criticize or denigrate companies or tools and likewise do not specifically advocate or support them. This is a community discussion platform inclusive of users and makers of translation technologies, but it is not a place to take out grievances or advertise. Naturally it is fine to identify tools in discussions to compare how technology should evolve.
Membership in this group is purely at the discretion of the moderators.
